Test Case and Execution Macro
Section titled “Test Case and Execution Macro”-
Definition: The main macro of this app. One macro holds a table of test steps and their execution results. Called test macro in this guide.

How to insert: In page edit mode, type
/testand select Test Case and Execution Macro. See Getting started.
Test Sheet
Section titled “Test Sheet”-
Definition: One Confluence page that groups multiple test cases.

Access: The Confluence page itself, or from the list view “Test Sheets” tab by page name. See Test Sheet List & Test Case List.
Test Case
Section titled “Test Case”-
Definition: One test macro equals one test case.

Access: The macro on the page, or from the list view “Test Cases” tab by opening the title.
Test Step
Section titled “Test Step”- Definition: A single row within a test case representing one action/verification unit. See Editing test steps.
Test Execution
Section titled “Test Execution”-
Definition: Recording results for each test step within a test case.

Input: Set the Result to Pass / Fail / Skip on the macro table; optionally attach evidence images and notes. See Getting started.
Result
Section titled “Result”-
Definition: The outcome recorded for a test step.

Values: Pass, Fail, Skip, or Clear (no result). Pass, Fail, and Skip are color-coded in the macro table. Changing the Result also updates the Tested Date column.
Temporal column
Section titled “Temporal column”-
Definition: A column whose value belongs to a single test run and is stored per page.

Behavior: Temporal values (such as Result, Tested Date, Image, and Note) are cleared when a test sheet is copied for re-testing, while non-temporal columns (the test case definition, such as Action and Expected) are carried over. The temporal setting can be changed per column in Column configuration.
Summary of Test Runs Macro
Section titled “Summary of Test Runs Macro”-
Definition: A macro that displays the Test Sheet List and Test Case List on a page.

Behavior: When placed on a page, it aggregates and shows all Test Sheets and Test Cases found on that page’s child pages. See Test Sheet List & Test Case List.
Parent Page
Section titled “Parent Page”-
Definition: A filter in the list view that limits the displayed Test Sheets to those located under a selected page.

Behavior: If no parent page is specified, all Test Sheets within the space are shown. Available only when the list is opened from the space menu.
