Editing Shortcuts: Quick Guide for Efficient Use

Here are some shortcuts you can use when editing test macros. Select a cell first (the P / F / S shortcuts work on a cell in the Result column).

’P’	Result	Set ‘Pass’ as test result
’F’	Result	Set ‘Fail’ as test result
’S’	Result	Set ‘Skip’ as test result
DEL	Columns other than Image column	Clear a cell
TAB	Any column	Confirm the edit and move to the next column
Down Arrow Key	Any column in the last row	Add a new row (when the cell is not in edit mode)
Ctrl / Cmd + C	Any cell or selected range	Copy the value of the selected cell or range
Ctrl / Cmd + V	Any cell or selected range	Paste the copied value(s) into the selected cell or range

Note

• You can select multiple cells by dragging across them (or by holding Shift while selecting), and then copy, paste, or clear the whole range at once. This makes it easy to move data between rows and columns, similar to a spreadsheet.
• DEL does not clear Image cells; delete attachments from the preview instead (see Attachments and image editing).
