Marketplace listing: Shell for Confluence (Stale Pages, Page Tree, Bulk Move)

Confluence CLI console: find stale or outdated pages with find -mtime (no Premium Inactive pages needed for that search), see the page tree, label, archive, bulk move or copy up to 100 pages (also across spaces), and export lists as CSV.

  • chmod applies multiple modes in a safe order (read add, update add, update remove, read remove); clearer hints when Confluence rejects a restriction change — Confluence now requires view (read) for edit (update), and you must keep yourself in the restriction.
  • Help text clarified for piped cross-space moves: find … | mv -y DEST (the whole batch needs -y; preview with -n); find … | cp DEST copies across spaces without -y.
  • Cross-space mv / cp / cp -r — move or copy pages into another space. A cross-space mv needs -y / --yes and moves descendants with the page; -n previews it. mv · cp
  • Bulk labels — label add / label rm on up to 100 pages, or find … | label add needs-review -y; list them with find -label. Recipe
  • Archive stale pages — find -mtime +730 -prune | archive -n sends pages to Confluence native archive (Standard plan or above; one page at a time; max 100). Recipe
  • Attachment cleanup — du -h sums attachment sizes per page; attach find -size +10M -ls lists large or old files; pipe into attach rm -n (trash only). Recipe
  • Copy a page tree — cp -r copies a page and its children, with attachments and labels (max 200 pages). Recipe
  • find -ls / find --format csv — export search results with id, version, owner, last update, title, path, and URL.
  • rm several pages — named paths, globs, or find … | rm -n (trash only; max 100).
  • Confluence folders — ls, cd, find, tree, du, and attach find see folders. Folder listings come from Confluence search, so a just-created or just-moved folder can take a moment to appear. mv, cp, rm, archive, label, chmod, and touch refuse folder paths.
  • Quoted paths fixed — './Name', "./Name", and ./Name\ with\ spaces now resolve as relative paths. Details
